Who We Are
Northern Lake George Foundation (NLGF) aims to contribute to a vibrant, resilient, and sustainable future for Northern Lake George. NLGF supports educational programs, local businesses, and community members to help develop a regional economy that celebrates the area's cultural and natural heritage while fostering growth and advancement for our community members. Through investments in the education of our youth, workforce development, and critical programs, NLGF will serve as a catalyst for progress in the region.
Our Core Objectives
-
Partner with educational institutions, private foundations, individual donors, and industry leaders to support students by offering opportunities for skills enhancement, post secondary education preparation and development of career pathways.
-
Foster a culture of innovation through incubation programs, ongoing mentorship for startups and succession planning for existing business owners. Partnering with our other impactful community organizations, drive local business growth through low-interest loans and development programs.
-
Support the development of critical programs with an initial focus on Ticonderoga’s Early Learning Center to expand access to childcare for our residents and employees of local businesses.
