Empowering Youth. Strengthening Community.
Not every student has access to a safe place to grow, connect, and stay active. For many, cost and social isolation stand in the way. UpLift exists to change that.
This is more than a gym membership. It’s a pathway to confidence, connection, and opportunity— ensuring every student has a place to belong and grow.
Located at Garrison Gym, this initiative supports students by prioritizing those with financial need—ensuring access to opportunities they would not otherwise have. Students receive full gym access, mentorship, community, and life skills.
Change starts with people like you. $35/month sponsors one student's gym membership and changes a their daily environment, habits, and future outlook. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a safe, accessible space for local youth to practice health and wellness.
Our Education and Workforce Development Initiative in action:Change Lives with NLGF Scholarships
Education has the power to change lives. Many local students aspire to pursue post secondary education, but face financial barriers that inhibit their ambitions. Your contribution to the Northern Lake George Foundation’s 2026 Scholarship Campaign directly supports our students as they pursue their dreams and build a brighter future.
Meg Singer and Mike Huffman have kicked-off the campaign with an amazing $10,000 donation! Join us in raising our $50,000 goal to award scholarships to 5+ deserving students this year and follow along for updates on how impactful these scholarships are.
